A Day Away in Khandala

India a country so divinely blessed, has another jewel studded in the western part, known as Khandala. The name 'Khandala' gained popularity when the famous bollywood star Aamir Khan sang the song 'aati kya Khandala' wooing his beloved. But also, for most of the north Indians the name Khandala sounds as if a place belonging to the bygone era of rugged forts and palaces. But on arrival, it is actually unbelievable to find a heaven so quietly residing here.

Tired of the daily routine, our group of friends decided to go for India tour but due to lack of time, the destination with the shortest distance came to our minds. None of us had any inkling that this short trip to Khandala would capture our hearts for the rest of our lives. Offering the most spectacular views, surrounded by beautiful hills and valleys, visit to Khandala brought us close to the nature. Once we reached Khandala, the journey became even more exciting, driving pass through the enticing surroundings. A perfect place for adventurous activities, Khandala's lush green hills offer an exciting experience of trekking and day hiking, the best way to enjoy the amazing views that this hill station is adorned with. Just few kilometers away from Khadala are the famous tourist attractions of Karla and Bhaja Caves, adding more to our adventurous itinerary.

Easily accessible from the metro towns, Khandala is also in close proximity to Mumbai and Pune, and well connected by road, rail and air. Therefore, in the future, it would not take much to plan for Khandala tour, a not to miss and must visit destination of India.
